The Competitor and Gold Medal lane
consists of a series of either 4” or 6” diameter
polyethylene discs and donuts strung on
a vinyl coated, 3/16” stainless steel cable.
The design allows for the discs to rotate
independently of each other, thereby allowing
the wave energy to be absorbed and dispersed
along the channel within the lane.
Assembly for each lane is completed at
one end with a bronze nickel-plated spool
encased in a stainless steel tension mechanism
to provide customized adjustment of
